7. Orders, Acceptance & Cancellations

7.1 Order Acceptance
An order is only accepted when we confirm it by email, invoice, or other written confirmation. We may refuse or cancel orders where:
• Stock is unavailable
• Payment is not received or fails
• A pricing or listing error occurs
• Fraud or misuse is suspected

7.2 Customer Cancellations
You may request to cancel an order by contacting us as soon as possible.
• If the order has not been dispatched or prepared, we may cancel and refund (subject to any fees stated below).
• Special order items (including certain attachments/parts ordered specifically for you) may not be cancellable or refundable once placed with our supplier.

7.3 Our Right to Cancel
We may cancel an order at any time prior to dispatch or delivery. If we cancel, we will refund any amounts paid.

8. Delivery & Collection

• Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed.
• Risk of loss or damage passes to you on delivery (or when you collect the item).
• If you arrange your own courier/transport, the item is at your risk once handed over.
• You must inspect goods on delivery/collection and notify us promptly of any visible damage.

If delivery fails due to incorrect address details or lack of access, you may be charged for re-delivery or additional handling.

9. Returns & Refunds (Goods)

9.1 Faulty or Incorrect Items
If goods are faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details and photos where relevant. Your statutory rights under UK consumer law are not affected.

9.2 Change of Mind (Consumer Orders)
If you are a consumer purchasing online, you may have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, unless an exception applies.

Returned goods must be:
• Unused and in resalable condition
• In original packaging (where possible)
• Returned within a reasonable timeframe after cancellation

You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

• Remove personal belongings where applicable

We may refuse to work on machinery that is unsafe, excessively contaminated, or where access is restricted.

11. Warranty & Liability

11.1 Product Warranty
New products may be covered by manufacturer warranty (where applicable). Warranty terms vary by product and manufacturer. We can provide details on request.

Used machinery (if supplied) may include a limited warranty or be sold on an “as seen” basis depending on the agreement and condition report provided.

11.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
• Loss or damage arising from misuse, incorrect installation, or unauthorised modifications
• Compatibility issues where the customer has not confirmed fitment/specification
• Pre-existing faults or issues not disclosed prior to service
• Indirect, special, or consequential losses (including loss of profit, loss of use, or business interruption)

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any matter where liability cannot be excluded under law.

12. Storage of Equipment

Machinery or equipment left on our premises is stored at the customer’s own risk. We may charge a storage fee if machinery is not collected within an agreed timeframe after notification.
